Submit a storytime

You are a valuable part of the Talk Story community and vital to growing a rich family literacy storytime database.  We welcome your submissions, and want to make the process as easy as possible for you.  We recommend viewing the Talk Story storytime template to pre-plan your content before uploading to the database.  Click here to view our storytime template.

After you have planned your storytime theme follow the simple steps below.  Soon you'll be on your way to sharing stories and sharing culture through Talk Story family literacy library programs. 

1.  Sign into your Talk Story account.  You can sign up for a Talk Story account here.  

2.  Click here to access the storytime web form.  Please note that you must be signed in to access the form.

3.  Enter  your storytime elements into the appropriate fields.  These include:

• Category
• Title
• Theme
• Books (title, author, illustrator)
• Art Activities and Crafts
• Additional activities and notes
• Tags (optional)

Required fields will be indicated when you fill out the storytime form.  

4.  Click on "Save" and you're done!

Please note that in order to ensure appropriate content all submissions will be moderated.  Once they are approved they will be posted to the database.
